I don't quite know why I started Japanese this late actually since it would definitely mean a lot to my academic pursuit. My researches focus on cultural and social history of modern China. I just finished a project on the radio broadcasting of Peking (1927-1949). I found out that a large portion of the archive was written in Japanese and I was not able to digest it yet. P.S. It's also a personal interest. The Japanese language is interesting, isn't it.
